Privacy Policy

What we collect, and how we treat it.

Last updated August 5, 2026. This policy explains what personal information After Business Club collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have, including for California residents.

1. Who we are

After Business Club is operated by Vision 360 Media LLC (“After Business Club,” “we,” “us”), located at 2420 E 28th Street, Signal Hill, CA 90755. This policy applies to our website, app, and membership. Questions or requests: help@afterbusiness.club.

2. Information we collect

You provide most of this directly; some is collected as you use the Club.

  • Account & profile: name, email, phone number, date of birth, city/area, role, company, a short bio, and an optional avatar.
  • Application & preferences: your application answers, what you're working on, who you'd like to meet, typical dinner spend, and dietary notes.
  • Activity: dinner reservations and attendance, pre-dinner intros, post-dinner connection choices, messages, city-community posts, comments, replies, reactions, blocks, and the times you join or leave a room.
  • Safety & moderation: reports you submit, the reported content and a snapshot of it at the time of reporting, review notes, warnings, mutes, access restrictions, restorations, and related audit records. Reporter identity is not shown to other members.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive limited details (such as card brand, last four digits, and subscription status) but do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: log, device, and basic usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Communications: a durable copy of emails we send, including the recipient, subject, rendered HTML and plain-text body, attachments, delivery status, and provider events. Authentication messages may contain a temporary verification code or link.

3. How we use your information

  • To run your membership: applications, billing, reservations, dinner curation, and matching you to a table.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
  • To communicate with you: confirmations, reminders, account and security emails, and support.
  • To enable post-dinner connections, which are shared only on mutual opt-in.
  • To operate city communities, apply each room's disclosed history setting, count reactions, and send relevant community notices.
  • To keep the Club safe: preventing fraud, abuse, and conduct that harms members or venues.
  • To investigate reports, preserve evidence, enforce conduct decisions, restore access when appropriate, and document any billing follow-up connected to a dinner safety hold.
  • To improve the service and understand how it's used.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including Supabase (database & authentication), Stripe (payments), our email provider, and our hosting provider, limited to what they need to perform their service.
  • Other members: your separate community-safe display name, optional avatar, role, company, short bio, and the posts, comments, replies, and reactions you publish in a city room. Community profiles do not expose your email, phone number, date of birth, social handles, dinner preferences, or internal matching information. Contact/connection is shared only after the applicable mutual opt-in.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of members, venues, or the Company.
  • Business transfers: if the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your membership is active and as needed to operate the Club, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can:

  • Download a copy of your data at any time from your account.
  • Request deletion of your account and data. We process deletion requests within seven days. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as tax and transaction records).

Published city-community content remains available according to the history setting disclosed for that room: a room may show its published history to future members or begin visibility when each member joins. Content stays under that setting until it is removed or deleted. If content is reported, we may retain a limited snapshot, report, moderation decision, and audit record after the live content is hidden or the account is deleted when reasonably necessary for member safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. We limit those records to the information needed for those purposes.

We retain our email-delivery archive independently of the email provider so support can verify exactly what was sent after the provider's shorter history expires. Access is restricted to authorized operations staff. Member-facing archived messages are included in account data exports and remain subject to verified deletion requests, except when limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

To make a request, use the controls in your account or email help@afterbusiness.club.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at help@afterbusiness.club or use your in-app data export and deletion controls. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it; to request access to and a copy of that information; to request correction or deletion; and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You may exercise your rights using the contacts and controls above; we will verify your request through your account.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and a vetted infrastructure provider, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of incidents where required by law.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use cookies to sell your information. Your browser settings let you control cookies, though disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.

11. Children

The Club is for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Club after an update constitutes acceptance.
